The District of Gicumbi has intensified the collection of taxes in the whole district. This is shown by the way the district received these taxes through the three previous years.
Here is shown how the district received taxes from 2006-2008
It was discovered in Gicumbi District that there was an increase in tax collection, this was achieved especially because of the trust people have in Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) and the district in general. There was an increase in sensitizing the population especially on the advantages of paying taxes.
* In 2006 the district collected 168,000,000Frw * In 2007 the district collected 281,000,000Frw (67.3%) * In the first semester of 2008, 93.472.611 Frw was collected
